Public Speaking Confidence

Speak with clarity, manage your nerves, and deliver your message with confidence.

You know what you want to say.

But the moment you imagine standing up to speak, your body reacts.

Your heart races. Your mind goes blank. You start doubting whether you should have said yes.

Maybe you’re avoiding opportunities because the fear feels too uncomfortable.

Tired of overthinking every word.

Tired of worrying how you’ll be perceived.

Tired of letting nerves take control.

You don’t lack something to say. You lack the tools to manage fear and speak with confidence.

Confidence comes from
understanding your fear

You can’t speak calmly if you don’t understand what’s happening in your body and mind first.

Build your confidence step by step

You can’t manage nerves if you don’t understand what triggers them.

This 4-session process helps you:

  • Understand how fear works and how your brain processes it
  • Identify and challenge limiting beliefs
  • Use visualisation and practical calming techniques
  • Practise delivering your speech in a safe environment
  • Strengthen how you engage your audience

This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about speaking as yourself, with confidence.

What you’ll walk away with

Stronger control over nerves

Understand what fear is, how your brain processes it, and how to manage it effectively.

Clear techniques you can use

Use visualisation and practical strategies to prepare with intention.

Greater audience engagement

Learn how to connect with your audience while staying authentic to your voice.

A cloud-shaped thought bubble with a crescent moon and star inside.

This work is not about surface motivation. It’s about understanding what drives you, where you are unconsciously holding yourself back, and choosing differently.

I’ve been on both sides of the table

Having experienced both sides of the table (a job seeker and the hiring manager), I know what both sides feel like. This unique perspective allows me to effectively coach you on structuring conversations to highlight your skills and experiences with potential employers.

I’ll offer you insights, ask the hard questions and gently challenge your thinking!

While I can’t wave a magic wand to make the perfect job vacancy appear, I can tell you that my coaching will give you clarity, self-awareness, and the kind of motivation you haven’t felt in a while.

What this really gives you

Confidence you can rely on.

When you understand your fear and know how to manage it, speaking stops feeling overwhelming. You move from trying to survive the moment to actually delivering your message.

Instead of obsessing over how you sound or how you look, you focus on what you want to say.

You trust your preparation. You speak with intention, not panic.

This is confidence built on skill and self-awareness, not forced positivity.

Frequently asked

  • I prefer to do the workshop with a small group of my friends, is this possible?

Yes!  Exploring your strengths, interests and values with those who know you brings another level of learning (and fun) to the learning.  Send me a message and we can sort times, dates as well as a location for your workshop.

  • What if I'm not sure what career path I want to pursue?

Career coaching can be especially helpful if you're feeling unsure about your career path. A career coach can help you explore your interests, values, strengths, and preferences, and provide guidance as you consider different options.  You can’t be what you can’t see; a career coach can also help you identify potential career paths based on your skills and interests and develop a plan to explore and pursue those options further.

  • Will career coaching guarantee me a job after graduation?

While career coaching can provide valuable support and guidance in your job search, it cannot guarantee you a job. Securing employment ultimately depends on various factors, including your qualifications, experience, the job market, and the effort you put into your job search. However, career coaching can help you improve your job search skills, be clear as to the career path you want to take, and increase your confidence, which can enhance your chances of success.

  • Can I participate in a career coaching program while still in high school?

Yes, this career and mindset coaching program is specifically designed for high school and Uni students. The program can help you explore career options, plan for Uni or TAFE, develop essential skills, and prepare for the transition to the workforce. Participating in a career coaching program while still in high school can give you a head start in building a successful career path.

  • What exactly is a career coaching program?

A career coaching program is a structured set of activities and resources designed to help teenagers and young adults explore various career paths, set goals, develop skills, and plan for their future careers. It typically involves one-on-one sessions with a career coach, workshops, assessments, and resources to support career exploration and development.

  • Why should I consider attending a career coaching program as a teenager/young adult?

Career coaching programs can provide valuable guidance and support as you navigate important decisions about your future. They can help you identify your interests, strengths, and values, explore different career options, set achievable goals, and develop the skills necessary to succeed in your chosen field.

  • Why should I choose the Know Your Purpose program?

Life’s been a rollercoaster for me, just like it probably has been for you.

It started back in high school where I felt like no one really got me.

I was unsure of what I was good at and what I wanted to pursue.

When I left school, I landed a job as an office manager and eventually pursued studies in Human Resource Management, where I excelled at fostering workplace harmony and cultivating positive cultures.

I witnessed countless individuals trapped in roles that didn’t align with their true aspirations, and it became clear to me that people were living what I call “accidental lives”, settling for jobs simply because they matched their degrees.

I soon realised my true passion was more about helping people reach their dreams rather than just ticking boxes.

For over twenty years, I, too, have constantly asked myself the big questions: "Am I happy? What am I doing with my life?" Through countless reinventions, I've learned the art of personal transformation firsthand.

Now, I'm here to help you navigate through your own journey of self-discovery, whether you’re still in school struggling with subject choices, a fresh high school graduate, or someone further along in your career.

Not sure where to start?
